Mr. Marshall ~ Assistant Principal
I Love being here! What a great place to be and what an amazing group of teachers and students. I feel very lucky to be a part of this team.
I am entering my 15th year of school administration, and have been in this district for 21 years. I also taught and coached at Esperanza. My wife is a Spanish and French teacher at Esperanza high school. Our Daughter, Athena graduated from UCLA and is now a nurse at USC Keck Medical Center working in the Liver/Kidney transplant unit. Our son, James is a Sr. at UCLA working on a Mathematics degree. He plans to teach.
In my time away from work, I enjoy sports. I have run several triathlons. I have been involved in the wrestling community for over 30 years. I like football and am a huge USC fan. And of course, I like the three stooges!
I am a firm believer in the journey of life. I think it’s more about the bruises, bandages and scars than it is about trophies or awards, though those are nice too. It is ok to make mistakes, just learn from them!
